Efficient.
Powerful.
Reliable.
Low voltage electric boilers deliver high-performance steam and hot water generation for industries aiming for flexibility, energy efficiency, and environmental responsibility. With a space-efficient design and precise load control, they are the future of sustainable industrial heating.

General information
Low voltage boilers are a flexible and efficient solution for steam and hot water production in industrial settings. Operating with supply voltages typically at 230V, 400V, or 690V, these boilers are designed for facilities where clean energy, compact size, and precise regulation are important.
The boilers separate the power and control systems from the pressure vessel. This improves safety and prolongs the life of electrical components by maintaining lower ambient temperatures around sensitive parts. Built according to industrial standards such as NEK 439 and PED 2014/68/EU, they meet strict safety and operational requirements.

Benefits of Low Voltage Boilers
Electric boilers offer several advantages compared to traditional combustion-based systems:
- No emissions at the point of use, supporting decarbonization goals.
- Low maintenance needs, as there are no burners, fuel handling systems, or flue gas treatment.
- Quiet operation, making them suitable for locations with noise restrictions.
- Good load regulation, allowing operation at very low minimum loads without loss of efficiency.
- No need for chimneys or fuel storage infrastructure.
Low voltage electric boilers are especially suitable for applications requiring fast load changes and precise pressure control. They are commonly used in industries such as food processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical production, and small- to medium-sized district heating systems.
Typical applications
- Process steam production for industrial facilities.
- Hot water generation for district heating networks.
- Backup and peaking units for energy systems.
- Decarbonization of existing fossil-fuel thermal plants.
- Heating for marine and offshore installations.

PARAT IEL – Low Voltage Element Boiler
The PARAT IEL is a low voltage electric boiler designed for steam and hot water generation. It is built with a compact and robust design, separating the boiler body and power cabinet to enhance safety and prolong the life of electrical components.
The boiler is constructed in compliance with
- PED 2014/68/EU
- NEK 439 standards.
It operates with supply voltages of 230V, 400V, and 690V, and is designed for pressures up to 18 barg as standard. Higher pressure designs are available on request.
The PARAT IEL offers a wide capacity range, up to 5,5 MW standard. It delivers precise load regulation, with the ability to operate at minimum loads as low as 15 kW. This makes it well suited for applications requiring fast and accurate adjustment of steam or hot water output.
Control is managed through a Siemens SIMATIC S7 PLC system with a local color touch panel. Integration with external systems is supported through analog/digital signals or protocols such as PROFIBUS and MODBUS. The safety system is independent of the PLC to ensure operational security.
