PARAT to Deliver Electric Steam System for Sizewell C Project in the UK
PARAT has signed an agreement with Sizewell C Limited for the delivery of a complete electric auxiliary steam system to the Sizewell C project in the United Kingdom.
The system includes three 27 MW High Voltage Electrode Boiler units and one Low Voltage Boiler, together with related system equipment. The High Voltage Electrode Boiler units are designed for operation at 10.5 kV and 11 barg, with a design pressure of 14 barg, giving a total installed electric steam capacity of 81 MW.

Auxiliary Steam System for Sizewell C
Sizewell C is a major clean energy infrastructure project located on the Suffolk coast in the United Kingdom. Once completed, the nuclear power station will provide low-carbon electricity to the equivalent of six million homes for at least 60 years.
Large-scale energy projects depend on a wide range of supporting systems and infrastructure. PARAT’s scope will form part of the auxiliary steam system for the Sizewell C project.
In addition to the boiler units, the delivery includes feedwater and deaeration equipment, pumps, blowdown tanks, chemical dosing, valves, pressure parts, local electrical and automation systems, PLC/control system, engineering, manufacturing, documentation, factory acceptance testing and commissioning support.
Complete System Delivery
The Sizewell C agreement represents a significant delivery for PARAT, both in scale and complexity. The project requires a complete system approach, with equipment, documentation, testing and integration support forming key parts of the delivery.
PARAT’s delivery is planned to be commissioned in 2034.
