Leadership transition at Parat Halvorsen

The transition marks an important moment for the company. Yngve has been part of Parat Halvorsen since 1979 and has led the business since 1991. Through more than three decades of leadership, he has played a central role in developing the company into an international supplier of steam and heat systems.

Tom joins the role with more than 20 years of leadership experience from Norwegian business and industry, most recently as CEO of Nordic Door AS. Over the past few months, he has worked closely with Yngve and key people across the organization to gain insight into Parat Halvorsen’s people, products, operations and opportunities ahead.

Parat Halvorsen is Norway’s largest supplier of steam and heat systems, delivering complete solutions to land-based industry and offshore customers worldwide. Since becoming part of Babcock Wanson Group in 2022, the company has taken part in a broader European focus on energy-efficient and electric solutions for industry.
