2 x 20MW boilers in full operation in Spain

The large boilers take up little space in terms of square meters, making it an efficient and space-saving solution. The plant is successfully regulating the boiler according to electricity prices, day, and period – giving the flexibility to optimize both in terms of operation and cost control.  Both boilers are equipped with superheaters providing the opportunity to heat the steam to the desired temperatures according to the production requirements.

Viscofan is a manufacturer of casting for meat products in collagen, cellulose, plastic, and fibrous. Aitesa was responsible for the engineering of the installation of the two new boilers in the boiler room and for the integration into the existing steam grid.
