Parat Collaborates with Alteo on the road to Decarbonization

In a significant step towards it’s decarbonization roadmap, Alteo moved forward with its 7MW electric boiler project, known as Project Chaudière BP électrique. A dedicated team from the Project Cell, Project Purchasing, and Plant Maintenance departments recently visited PARAT Halvorsen at our headquarters and production facilities in Flekkefjord Norway.

During their visit, our technical team guided Alteo through a thorough examination of the electric boiler, ensuring its optimal performance and reliability ahead of shipping. The delivery was scheduled for the end of May, with installation and connections planned shortly after. The new boiler from PARAT will be positioned in the Energy Group (GE) area, adjacent to existing BP boilers, and is expected to be operational by mid-July.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in PARATs partnership with Alteo, reinforcing our commitment to supporting their sustainability journey.
