Trip to the Zoo in Kristiansand

As an important part of our employees well-being and social involvement internally, Parat invites its employees with families to different excursions.

Trip to the Zoo in Kristiansand

We have earlier been at Prekestolen - and Sunday June 14th was a good bunch of over 100 people visiting the Zoo in Kristiansand. Parat Halvorsen are so lucky to have a committed Elise Løvland in the role as an 'environment minister' - something that has given fantastic results on social activities.

We were so lucky to be given one of the many days with great weather in june – and an optimistic crowd from Flekkefjord lead the queue when the park opened at 10am Sunday morning. This turned out to be a great day for both children and adults - although the Zoo was surprised about the huge number of visitors that day. Several new attractions with the new lion park ensured that this almost became 'first visit' for all - even though we have been in the park several times earlier. One of the many highlights was when the company invited all for free 'Homemade' pizza and soda on the reserved restaurant. Many thought it was relaxing not having to look for a free spot, crowding - or pay big bucks for a bite to eat.

For a grown man, it is memorable when you are 50 cm from a full-grown Tiger .. And be happy that there was an armored glass between us. (If not, the tiger would really have problems ..) Hopefully, all employees with families experienced fantastic, exotic and rare animals in the short and visible distance. A fantastic day with colleagues, Julius and other animal friends went far too quickly - we are looking forward to new activites with PARAT Halvorsen in the near future.
