PARAT to deliver a complete MEL Electrical Steam Boiler to The Norwegian Coastal Administration

PARAT Halvorsen AS will supply a complete MEL 350kW Electrical Steam Boiler with control cabinets, pumps and equipment. This will be used in oil spill response, where the oil pumped in the tank of the boat must maintain its viscosity.

This PARAT boiler model can also be delivered as a combined hot water / steam model, where you can use hot water for the central heating system and switch to steam in ORO situations. We have so far delivered over 150 of these systems, and are one of the world's leading manufacturers of Electrical Boilers for Marine and Industrial use.

The new environmentally friendly vessel will be built at Fitjar Mek. Verksted, the design is developed by Heimli Ship Design. Scheduled delivery to The Norwegian Coastal Administration is autumn 2018.
