PARAT to deliver 4 Steam/Hot water Boilers to STX
In April Parat Halvorsen signed in all 4 boiler plant contracts with STX and their new buildings of multi purpose platform ships.
The vessels are also designed for oil recovery operations, were the boiler plant and belonging ORO system are a necessary key part to meet and satisfy NOFO’s demands and regulations.
The boiler, as a steam boiler is only for use in ORO operation, thus Parat will supply a combined steam & hot water boiler, were the boiler daily will be operated as a hot water supplier to the vessels AC and sanitary system. The boiler plant consists of a small and compact 1250 kW horizontal boiler with low load regulation down to 15 kW, heat exchangers and recovery exchangers to various water consumers and complete system delivery with belonging steam lances for ORO mobilization.
