PARAT presented at the 12th RU-NO Barents conference in Tromsø

Oil Spill Expertise: Representatives from solution and technology providers for oil spill response systems gathered under one roof. Frank Mohn AS, Aptomar AS, Parat Halvorsen AS, Norlense AS and DNV GL.

On January 21st 2014, Kim Kristensen represented Parat Halvorsen as one of the speakers at the 12th RU-NO Barents conference in Tromsø.

The RU-NO project is a Norwegian-Russian oil & gas industry cooperation project that will assess the gap between the technology currently available and the technology needed for extracting oil and gas resources in the Barents, Pechora and Kara Seas in an environmentally sound and safe way.

The theme for this years conference was: 'How to drill and develop oil and gas fields in the Arctic, in an environmentally friendly way'.

Parat Halvorsen gave a brief introduction to our clean energy projects and ongoing product developments along with some detailed information about the companys products and technology directly related to oil spill response and contingency.
