Complete hot water boiler plant to Noryards Fosen AS
PARAT Halvorsen AS has signed a new contract with Noryards Fosen AS in Norway, to deliver a complete hot water boiler plant for their new building NB92.
Noryards AS has signing of a new shipbuilding contract with the Norwegian ship-owner and operator BOA for an eco-friendly Inspection Maintenance and Repair (IMR) Vessel.
The new-building will be one of the most energy-efficient vessel of its class, utilizing a number of features that contribute to optimal operational performance, low emissions and reduced fuel consumption. The vessel’s overall length will be 108 m with a beam of 24 m.
As a part Parat’s scope of delivery includes a combined oil fired & electric boiler, type MVH, equal type of boiler, among others delivered to both the Indian Navy as well a to the Norwegian Coastguard. The boiler has been very popular due to its high efficiency and vertical compact design, easy to fit into a tight engine room.
