PARAT Halvorsen AS has entered into a contract to deliver a complete steam boiler plant with the shipowner Fishermen’s Finest, based in Seattle, WA, USA.

ST-116XL

As a part of the steam plant, a combined exhaust gas & oil fired boiler, type MCS is included, constructed and designed to utilize and extract maximum of the diesel engines exhaust heat for steam production to the vessels fishmeal factory.

The stern trawler is designed by Skipsteknisk AS in Aalesund, Norway and will be built at Dakota Creek Industries in Anacortes, USA.

The stern trawler vessel joins six other ST-116 design trawlers, operating worldwide and will be the first to operate in the United States and the waters of Alaska.
