PARAT Halvorsen to deliver high voltage Electrode boilers to Kazakhstan

Kazakhmys Copper Production in Kazakhstan.

The hot water units are based around the Parat High Voltage Electrode boiler and the total heat duty to be delivered is just below 30MW.

The boiler pressure vessels will be delivered with the ASME Stamp and both units will be designed, constructed and tested at the Parat main facilities in Flekkefjord, Norway. The hot water units will mainly be used to heat up the processing fluid used in the open pit copper extraction process. The detailed engineering has been started and the units are scheduled to be delivered in February 2014.

Parat will deliver two complete, turnkey, skid based hot water units.



Kazakhmys PLC is a leading international natural resources group with significant interests in copper, gold, zinc, silver and power generation.
