PARAT delivery to Simek NB135

The main steam consumer of the boiler is the process plant onboard. The end customer is one of New Zealands largest seafood companies – Sealord Group Ltd. Nelson; and delivery of the vessel is expected March 2018.

In addition to the boiler PARAT's delivery also includes feed water tank, pumps, water treatment equipment and dumping arrangement for surplus steam in situation where heat recovered from the engines is higher than the steam consumer demand. PARAT is also supplying equipment for heating of the hot water system; steam/water heat exchanger and an electrical fired hot water tank with coils for domestic hot water.

Simek is a modern and well equipped shipyard located on the south coast of Norway. Simek employs approximately 175 workers, peaking 250 at most and has built and delivered 133 vessels over the last 49 years and have two more on order for delivery within 2018.
