The delivery of a complete steam boiler plant to Clearwater Seafoods newest vessel is imminent. The vessel is originally an offshore supply vessel, that is being converted to a Clam Trawler at a Spanish Shipyard.
PARAT Halvorsen shall deliver a combined oil fired/exhaust gas boiler (MCS) that mainly shall be producing steam for the process plant onboard. In addition to that the delivery consists of feed water tank, pumps, water treatment equipment and dumping arrangement of surplus steam in situation where heat recovered from the engines is higher than the steam consumer demand.
Steam boiler and tank are tailor made to fit into the very limited space onboard.
Additional order:
In addition to the complete steam boiler delivery, PARAT has received an additional order from Clearwater Seafood's for equipment to improve the vessel's central heating system. The additional scope of supply consists of a steam/water heat exchanger, a 200kW electrical back-up heater, circulation pumps and an expansion tank.
It also includes a domestic hot water tank, miscellaneous hot water fan heaters for heating of work spaces etc. and remotely controlled valves to control the flow to the different consumers and producers. The system is operated through a PLC based control system which also is part of PARAT's delivery.
